The Arena Mall retail development is the first retail project in Uganda to have achieved the 4-Star Retail Centre Design Green Star Certification from The Green Building Council of South Africa. The certification recognises and rewards environmental leadership and is a recognised symbol of sustainability achievement.
The design and the construction of the mall took into consideration the efficient green build requirements for Green 4 Star certification, with 63% improvement in annual energy consumption modeled over the Green Star baseline, as designed. This is a momentous achievement for The Arena Mall as it aligns with our continued aim of serving our Ugandan people by being market leaders.
